About / Additional Info:The 26th Judicial District is located in the northeastern region of Pennsylvania and is a joint county district comprised of both Columbia and Montour Counties.The Columbia County seat is located in Bloomsburg, and the Montour County seat is located in Danville. Court proceedings are held in both Counties before both Judges. The Court of Common Pleas is a trial court of general jurisdiction handling all civil and criminal matters including child and spousal support matters, child custody matters, juvenile delinquency, juvenile dependency, and Orphan’s Court matters.
