About / Additional Info: | Wyoming County is located in the Northeast corner of Pennsylvania. It is a 7th Class County with 18 Townships 5 Boroughs. Wyoming County was formed out of the northern part of Luzerne County, by an act of Assembly approved April 4th, 1842. The original Courthouse was dedicated on April 4, 1843. |
